Our Stories

Born on January 26th, 2001, in Baltimore, Maryland, I grew up surrounded by stories—some told loud, others hidden in the rhythm of everyday life. When I was a junior at Morehouse College, sitting in my dorm room, the idea for Perspective Studios first came to me. I didn’t have the equipment or the structure, just a belief that if I could capture life the way I felt it, people would connect. After graduating from Morehouse College, I made the decision to walk away from the expected path and chase the one that scared me most: creating for a living.

In January 2025, my friend Alende and I founded Perspective Studios, built from the ground up by two Morehouse graduates who believed our lens could shift the culture. What started as late-night shoots and trial-and-error edits became a company grounded in storytelling, craft, and intention. Inspired by visionaries like Spike Lee, Donald Glover, and Barry Jenkins, I learned that film isn’t just about what’s seen—it’s about what’s felt. Every frame is a reflection of rhythm, emotion, and truth.

This past year has been about becoming who I always said I was—a creator with something real to say. Perspective Studios isn’t just a production company; it’s the proof that discipline, culture, and belief can turn vision into legacy. The story’s still unfolding, and the camera’s still rolling.

Originally from Maryland, I developed an early passion for visual storytelling that deepened during my time at Morehouse College in Atlanta. While at Morehouse, I became part of Night Vision, a small photo and video collective known for sharing authentic creative work on Instagram. It was during this time that I began collaborating closely with Gyasi, discovering a shared visual language and approach to capturing honest, compelling moments.

Following Night Vision, we gained valuable hands-on experience at First Floor Productions, a company where we worked across a range of projects involving artists, brand content, and on-set production logistics. While our time there was formative, we eventually chose to move in a new direction.

That evolution gave rise to Perspective—our own studio committed to crafting clear, efficient, story-driven content. Today, Perspective specializes in commercial campaigns, short-form documentaries, and social-first visual work, all rooted in real voices and streamlined production workflows.

My journey—from the creative grounding of Maryland to the intellectual and artistic growth fostered at Morehouse—has shaped a storytelling ethos that continues to define my work at Perspective.
